Our verdict
Aragon's headshot packages are easy to price, and its face-data policy is one of the more specific we have read: a 30-day deletion clock and a contractual ban on its AI vendors training on your face. The catch is the refund: downloading a single photo counts as using the product, and the subscription side forfeits unused credits every period. Preview everything before you click download.
Good fit if you…
- One-off LinkedIn or resume headshots
- Buyers who want a written face-data deletion schedule
- Small teams paying per person with no seat minimum
Skip it if you…
- You want a refund after downloading your photos
- You plan to bank subscription credits across months
- You object to outputs being usable in vendor promotion
The fine print, graded
Five questions, graded A (best for you) to E from Aragon AI, Inc.'s own pages. How grades work.
Pricing clarity · Are prices public and free of traps?
Headshot packages are listed in USD at $35, $45 and $75, each shown next to a higher figure ($44, $56, $94) under a '20% off all packages limited time only' banner, so the 'discount' is part of the standard display. The four app subscriptions ($15 to $249 a month) appear in the page's structured data, but the credit allowance behind each price did not show in the page text we could read.
SourceCancel & refunds · Can you leave, and get money back?
Headshot orders get a free redo or a full refund within 14 calendar days, but the policy says downloading your photos counts as using the product, and requests can be refused if you ignored the upload instructions. Subscriptions are refundable within 14 days only for the latest charge and only if no credits were used; missed-cancellation renewals are not refunded. The terms add that cancellation must reach support@aragon.ai before the renewal date.
SourceLimits & credits · What is capped, and do credits expire?
The terms say unused credits or allowances expire at the end of each subscription period and do not carry over. Separately purchased credits can only be used within the timeframe set at purchase, and promotional credits may expire as stated when issued. Team accounts can only get partial refunds for credits that were never used.
SourceYour data · Is your content used to train models?
Face data is permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days of the earliest of: delivery, a deletion request, account closure, an organization-set period, or one year after collection, though active subscribers may keep it until their plan ends. Aragon says it contractually bars its AI providers from training generalized models on face data and does not sell face data. It does keep a right to use anonymized or aggregate data for service improvement.
SourceOutput rights · Can you use what you make commercially?
Aragon assigns you its rights in the output and allows personal or commercial use. In return you grant an irrevocable, royalty-free license over your content, and the terms let Aragon display output on its website, galleries 'or any other promotional medium'. Similar outputs may also be produced for other users.

User reviews · What do paying users report?
Trustpilot is strongly positive (4.6 from 7,385 reviews), but the newest reviews there are almost all invited or redirected by Aragon, and many describe its newer photo-editing tools rather than headshots. The App Store listing is cooler at 3.8 from 51 ratings. The most repeated complaint is headshots that look plastic or unlike the person, with extra credits needed to fix them. The most repeated praise is speed and the range of backgrounds and styles.
| Platform | Rating | Reviews | Read |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustpilot | 4.6/5 | 7,385 | November 5, 2026 |
| Apple App Store | 3.8/5 | 51 | November 5, 2026 |
| Google Play | 3.1/5 | 12 (too few to count) | November 5, 2026 |
Recurring complaints
- Results look artificial or "plastic" and sometimes don't resemble the person, including wrong hair texture or a face that has been subtly changed
- Clothing and outfits look fake, dated or badly fitted, and changing them costs extra credits
- You can't preview results before paying, and fixing a bad image means spending more credits
- Some buyers call it overpriced for the share of usable photos and ask for refunds
- On mobile, some users hit upload rejections and repeated errors before they could submit photos
What users like
- Fast and easy: upload selfies and get a batch of headshots back quickly
- Many background and style options, with results many reviewers call realistic
- The newer editing tools (outfit, pose, face swap, photo restore) get frequent positive mentions
Ratings are the platforms' own figures on the date shown. Review sites attract unhappy customers and some vendors invite happy ones, so we average platforms instead of trusting one. How the user grade works.

What Aragon sells
Aragon is two products sharing one account. The first is the one most people come for: you upload selfies, pick a package, and receive a batch of AI-generated professional headshots. The second is an app subscription with tiers called Lite, Pro, Ultimate and Creator, priced at $15, $29, $49 and $249 a month in the pricing page's structured data, which runs on credits for Aragon's broader editing tools.
A third track, Teams, charges $45 per person on the Basic tier and moves to a custom quote for Teams Pro. The teams page says you can start with a single member and save up to 20% when you buy credits in bulk.
The refund depends on one click
The pricing FAQ says you can get a full refund if you are unhappy for any reason, as long as you have not downloaded your photos. The standalone refund policy is narrower: the request must come within 14 calendar days, the photos must fail to represent you accurately, and Aragon checks whether your uploads followed its instructions. Most importantly, the policy states that downloading counts as using the product.
The practical advice is simple. Aragon lets you preview the whole gallery before downloading, so use that preview to decide. If the results are off, ask for the free redo or the refund first. Once a file is on your drive, you are in case-by-case territory.
Approved refunds are reviewed in 1 to 3 business days and land back on your card in 5 to 10 business days, according to the policy. Aragon also warns that unjustified chargebacks can get an account suspended.
Subscription credits are use-it-or-lose-it
If you add an app subscription, read two clauses together. The terms say unused credits expire at the end of each subscription period and never roll over. The refund policy says a subscription charge is refundable within 14 days only if you used no credits in that period, and only for the most recent payment.
Cancellation is also less self-serve than we would like. The terms tell you to email support from the address on your account, and stress that the request must arrive before the renewal date. Cancelling stops the next charge but does not refund the rest of the current cycle.
What happens to your selfies
This is where Aragon is stronger than many rivals. The privacy policy treats uploaded faces as a separate category, collected with a consent checkbox, and commits to deleting or anonymizing that face data within 30 days of the earliest trigger: delivery of your photos, a deletion request, account closure, a period your employer sets, or one year after collection. The exception is active subscribers, whose face data may be kept until the plan ends.
Aragon also says it contractually prohibits its AI service providers from training generalized models on face data and that it does not sell or profit from face data. What the policy does not say outright is that Aragon will never use face data to refine its own system; it reserves anonymized and aggregate data for service improvement. General account content is kept for the life of the account plus 30 days.
Ownership, with a marketing clause
The terms assign you Aragon's rights in your headshots and allow personal or commercial use, so using them on a company website or in a press kit is covered. The flip side is the license you grant back: worldwide, irrevocable and royalty-free, with explicit permission for Aragon to display output on its site, galleries or other promotional media. If you would rather your AI portrait never appear in an ad, that clause is worth a support email before you buy.
Disputes go to JAMS arbitration under California law, with a 30-day window to opt out after you accept the terms. You must be 18 or older to use the service.
