Aragon AI vs HeadshotPro: which fine print is kinder to you?

Short answer

Both sell one-time headshot packs, delete your selfies within about 30 days and assign you the photos. HeadshotPro has the edge on fine print: plain one-time prices, team credits that never expire and an explicit promise not to train on your photos. With Aragon, a single download counts as using the product, which closes the refund.

What users sayB Trustpilot is strongly positive (4.6 from 7,385 reviews), but the newest reviews there are almost all invited or redirected by Aragon, and many describe its newer photo-editing tools rather than headshots. The App Store listing is cooler at 3.8 from 51 ratings. The most repeated complaint is headshots that look plastic or unlike the person, with extra credits needed to fix them. The most repeated praise is speed and the range of backgrounds and styles.B Trustpilot is the only platform we could read: 4.7 from 3,618 reviews, with 83% five-star. All of the 20 newest reviews carry Trustpilot's "Invited" tag, meaning HeadshotPro asked those customers to review, so the score leans on solicited feedback; with a single platform, our rule caps the grade at B. The negative reviews mostly say the headshots didn't look like the person, and the positive ones praise how easy and quick it is.
Pricing clarityC Headshot packages are listed in USD at $35, $45 and $75, each shown next to a higher figure ($44, $56, $94) under a '20% off all packages limited time only' banner, so the 'discount' is part of the standard display. The four app subscriptions ($15 to $249 a month) appear in the page's structured data, but the credit allowance behind each price did not show in the page text we could read.A Individual packages are one-time USD payments of $29, $39 and $59, paid by card or PayPal, with no subscription to cancel. Team pricing is shown openly: $25.35 per shoot when buying 100 credits ($2,535), with automatic discounts from 20% at 5 credits up to 50% at 1,000 or more, and the page says discounts stack across lifetime purchases.
Cancel & refundsC Headshot orders get a free redo or a full refund within 14 calendar days, but the policy says downloading your photos counts as using the product, and requests can be refused if you ignored the upload instructions. Subscriptions are refundable within 14 days only for the latest charge and only if no credits were used; missed-cancellation renewals are not refunded. The terms add that cancellation must reach support@aragon.ai before the renewal date.B The refund page promises a 30-day money-back guarantee with a complete refund and 'No conditions', self-serve for individual and team orders. The terms of service are stricter: a full refund within 14 days of purchase only if no AI photos were downloaded, at-cost refunds for teams that created 10 or more models, and all later purchases final after any earlier refund.
Limits & creditsD The terms say unused credits or allowances expire at the end of each subscription period and do not carry over. Separately purchased credits can only be used within the timeframe set at purchase, and promotional credits may expire as stated when issued. Team accounts can only get partial refunds for credits that were never used.B Each pack has a fixed headshot count (30, 50 or 70) plus a set number of photo credits (6, 26 or 46), and the pricing page says every package includes one free redo within 60 days of the shoot. Team credits never expire. Whether individual packs ever expire is not stated clearly in the text we read.
Your dataB Face data is permanently deleted or anonymized within 30 days of the earliest of: delivery, a deletion request, account closure, an organization-set period, or one year after collection, though active subscribers may keep it until their plan ends. Aragon says it contractually bars its AI providers from training generalized models on face data and does not sell face data. It does keep a right to use anonymized or aggregate data for service improvement.B The terms say input photos are deleted automatically 30 days after your gallery is generated, or sooner if you delete them, and that input photos and outputs will not be used to train HeadshotPro's or third-party generative models. Another clause still allows training its algorithms on data derived from your content, uploaded photos excluded. The privacy policy has no biometric section and gives 14 days to erase data after a confirmed request.
Output rightsC Aragon assigns you its rights in the output and allows personal or commercial use. In return you grant an irrevocable, royalty-free license over your content, and the terms let Aragon display output on its website, galleries 'or any other promotional medium'. Similar outputs may also be produced for other users.B HeadshotPro assigns you its rights in the AI headshots and licenses them for personal and commercial use. You grant it a broad, irrevocable license to host and display your content, but the terms say uploaded photos will not be used for marketing without your prior written consent. Similar outputs may be generated for other users.
